The VA Central Iowa Health Care System ranked 120th among VA health care systems with 29,334 pending appointments across its nine locations during the period ending Oct. 1, according to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

The VA Central Iowa Health Care System, subsidiary 636GC in Mason City, Iowa scheduled 2,413 pending appointments in June compared to 2,114 during the same period last year, according to data collected from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
Of the 3,059 citizens living in Garner in 2019, 99.6 percent said they were only one race, while 0.4 percent said they were two or more races, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained in January.
