Charles City Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement.
Brief Annual Chamber Meeting set between tee times
The 25th Annual Charles City Chamber Golf Outing has been rescheduled for Wednesday, August 18, at Cedar Ridge Golf Course. This year’s 9-hole, 4-person best shot format will once again feature your choice of 2 p.m. or 5:15 p.m. shotgun starts, with a burger bar meal available from 4-6 p.m. Awards will be presented at approximately 7 p.m.
This event will also double as the Chamber’s Annual Meeting, with a very brief presentation at 4:30 p.m. open to all Chamber members, whether you are golfing or not. If you are not golfing but would like to partake in the Burger Bar the cost is $10 per person. Please RSVP the Chamber office by June 11th if you would like a non-golf meal ticket.
You don’t have to be a Chamber member to join in on the golfing fun. Participants will be able to try their hand at a different games throughout the course during play, as well as vie for prizes and network with other Chamber members. There will also be a 50/50 raffle available.
Cost to play is $35 per person/$140 per team of four, which includes a cart, round of golf and the burger bar. Registration forms are available at the Chamber office at 401 North Main St. or download from link below. Please return your form by June 11th. Pre-registration is encouraged. Registrations will be accepted the day of the event but without the guarantee of cart availability.
