On Tuesday, March 25, former Waverly-Shell Rock Senior High School standout Emma Thompson’s current college team, the Loras Duhawks, lost 18-9 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Dubuque Spartans.

The game took place at Faber-Clark Field. This was their second matchup against the Spartans this season.

The Duhawks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 11 a.m. at Faber-Clark Field against Cornell Rams.
