Thursday, March 27: Newman Catholic High School standout Josh Fitzgerald’s college team loses to Iowa Hawkeyes

On Thursday, March 27, former Newman Catholic High School standout Josh Fitzgerald’s current college team, the Minnesota Golden Gophers, lost 16-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Iowa Hawkeyes.

The game took place at Siebert Field. This was their first matchup against the Hawkeyes this season.

The Golden Gophers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 12 p.m. at Siebert Field against Iowa Hawkeyes.
