On Friday, May 2, former Waverly-Shell Rock Senior High School standout Emma Thompson’s current college team, the Loras Duhawks, won 11-2 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Buena Vista Beavers.

The game took place at BVU - Storm Lake HS Softball Field. This was their first matchup against the Beavers this season.

The Duhawks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, May 2 at 3 p.m. at BVU - Storm Lake HS Softball Field against Buena Vista Beavers.
