On Friday, May 2, former Waverly-Shell Rock Senior High School standout Emma Thompson’s current college team, the Loras Duhawks, won 1-0 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Buena Vista Beavers.

The game took place at BVU - Storm Lake HS Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Beavers this season.

It was the last Loras Duhawks’ game this season
