On Tuesday, April 8, former Waverly-Shell Rock Senior High School standout Emma Thompson’s current college team, the Loras Duhawks, won 8-7 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Coe Kohawks.

The game took place at Faber-Clark Field. This was their second matchup against the Kohawks this season.

The Duhawks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 1 p.m. at NWU Field against Nebraska Wesleyan Prairie Wolves.
