On Saturday, April 5, former Waverly-Shell Rock Senior High School standout Emma Thompson’s current college team, the Loras Duhawks, lost 7-5 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Wartburg Knights.

The game took place at Lynes Field. This was their second matchup against the Knights this season.

The Duhawks’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 8 at 2 p.m. at Faber-Clark Field against Coe Kohawks.
