On Saturday, March 15, former Waverly-Shell Rock Senior High School standout Emma Thompson’s current college team, the Loras Duhawks, won 9-1 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the New England Pilgrims.

The game took place at Fortune Road Athletic Complex. This was their first matchup against the Pilgrims this season.

The Duhawks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 1 p.m. at Holmgren Athletic Complex against North Park Vikings.
