On Sunday, March 2, former Newman Catholic High School standout Josh Fitzgerald’s current college team, the Minnesota Golden Gophers, lost 8-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Arizona State Sun Devils.

The game took place at Phoenix Municipal Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Sun Devils this season.

The Golden Gophers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 4 at 6 p.m. at Siebert Field against Milwaukee Panthers.
