Sunday, Feb. 23: Newman Catholic High School standout Josh Fitzgerald’s college team wins to Oregon State Beavers

On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Newman Catholic High School standout Josh Fitzgerald’s current college team, the Minnesota Golden Gophers, won 10-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Oregon State Beavers.

The game took place at Dell Diamond. This was their first matchup against the Beavers this season.

The Golden Gophers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 7:30 p.m. at Phoenix Municipal Stadium against Arizona State Sun Devils.
