On Thursday, Feb. 20, former Waverly-Shell Rock Senior High School standout Emma Thompson’s current college team, the Loras Duhawks, won 7-1 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Edgewood Eagles.

The game took place at Louisville Slugger Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Duhawks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 8 a.m. at Louisville Slugger Sports Complex against Mount Mary Blue Angels.
