2021 has 1.2% of Mitchell County residents unemployed

Mitchell County recorded an unemployment rate of 1.2% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 71 people out of the 10,526 living in Mitchell County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Mitchell County has decreased compared to the 1.5% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Mitchell County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 3.9%.
