3.4% of citizens unemployed in Bremer County in 2021

Bremer County recorded an unemployment rate of 3.4% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 459 people out of the 24,863 living in Bremer County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Bremer County has increased compared to the 3.1% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Bremer County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 3.9%.

Of the 12,981 people who had a job during that time, 18 were employed in the Armed Forces and 12,963 belonged to the civilian labor force.
