How many people were old enough to vote in Cerro Gordo County during 2021?

Of the 43,185 citizens living in Cerro Gordo County in 2021, 79% were old enough to vote, equating to 34,099 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 16,642 were male, constituting 48.8%, and 17,457 were female, making up 51.2%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Cerro Gordo County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 76.7%.
