If you would like to participate in this year’s Independence Day Parade, please fill out the online registration no later than June 24, 2022. Registration for the parade is $12 for a business or personal entry if received by July 24th.  Non-profit groups and organizations may enter their first two vehicles at no charge. ALL those who would like to register after June 24 will have to go into the Community Development office to register and will be charged a $20 registration fee.  We will assign parade entry numbers on a first come, first serve basis. Parade numbers will be mailed the week before the parade.

  • The $12 parade entry fee covers 2 vehicles ONLY (car, truck, trailer, tractor or other farm machinery). One truck and one trailer is considered 2 vehicles. Non-profit entries are also limited to 2 vehicles. If any participant wishes to have more than 2 vehicles, an additional $6/per vehicle charge will apply.
The parade will be held on Monday, July 4, 2022, beginning at 10:30 a.m. You may line up as early as 8:00 a.m. and must be in place no later than 9:30 a.m. if you want to be judged.

Line-Up 2022: The parade line-up will take place on 13th Avenue.  Please enter 13th Avenue from Cleveland Avenue.. Do NOT use E Street as an entrance as it must be kept open for emergency vehicles.  As in past years, the route will travel down Main Street; turn right on Riverside Drive, and then right on Jackson Street.  We will proceed to Richings Street, at which time you can disband from the parade.

Please see parade rules on the registration page. It is very important that you pay attention to the rules of dispensing candy from the curb (no throwing) and do NOT have any squirt guns in the parade. These are the City rules and must be strictly followed to continue with the parade.

It is expected that if you register for the parade you understand and agree to adhere to the rules.
