Description:
Part of summer series put on by Main Street Charles City in Central Park from 5-9 p.m. Free admission, with live musical entertainment. Food and beverage vendors, beer garden, games, and other activities.
June 10th will be the "Iowa raised, Ireland rooted" band Blame Not the Bard, a high-energy trio formed in 2015 on a mission "to bring the stories of Ireland alive...and to have fun doing it." Be prepared to get your feet moving and your hands clapping as you get your Irish on. The group has played throughout Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, and South Dakota. They have been featured in the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier as well as on the PBS program Greetings From Iowa.
The theme of this night is Games! There will be lawn games, Tug-of-War, a kids relay race organized by Synergy, the Boy Scout pedal cars and more!
Food trucks scheduled to be on hand that night include Cal's Doughnuts, Cookie Doughtique, Hy-Vee, Island Grill, Maria's Tacos, and Pat's BBQ.
