Of the 639 people living in Swea in 2020, 45.5 percent (291) were women and 54.5 percent (348) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the North Iowa Reporter.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 27. In the 65 and over age range, there were 53 females and 61 males.
