Parkersburg Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.
United States Senator Joni Ernst met with municipal representatives last Monday at Parkersburg City Hall as part of her annual 99 County Tour.
Her visit was Ernst’s second stop after Black Hawk County, where she attended the Back Packin' the Dome Day of Service event in Cedar Falls.
Ernst visited with city administrator Chris Luhring and city council member Dan Bruns, participating in a discussion about Parkersburg’s spirit and its goals for the future.
State Representative Pat Grassley and Parkersburg Chief of Police Dave Jara were also in attendance.
