2021 Moonlight Bike Ride on August 20

Mason City Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.

The 2021 Moonlight Bike Ride is scheduled for Friday, August 20. This year's event will coincide with the August Friday Night Live! The Chamber The Chamber's Worksite Wellness Committee encourages community members to think healthy this summer. Participants may enter as an individual or family of four for this fun event.

Schedule of Activities:

Registration 8PM | Central Park – City Hall Parking Lot

    Riders receive a swag bag, bike light, and refreshments

Activity Stations 8-10PM | Activity Zone

   Activities include a bike safety station, glow-in-the-dark decorations, contest for best costumes and

   decorated bikes, corn hole, giant board games, music, and more!

Bike Ride 10PM | Central Park

Halfway Point Pit Stop | YMCA

   Snack, music, and photo area

Breakfast 11PM-12:30AM | Downtown Plaza

   Breakfast burritos (included in registration)

Endorsed by Iowa's Healthiest State Initiative (HSI), the Moonlight Bike Ride aligns with the goals of HSI for Iowa to become the healthiest state in the nation.

Individual and family entries will ride a 10-mile loop starting in the heart of downtown under the light of a full summer moon. Registration begins at 8PM on ride day, with a 10PM starting time. Admission is $20 youth, $25 for an individual, and $50 for a family of four.

We are excited to promote a positive healthy event to the community!
