Waverly Municipal Hospital recently issued the following announcement.
Kelsey Masters of Nashua, Walk-In Clinic, and Dr. Jeffrey Clark, Cedar Valley Medical Specialists, received WHC’s Quarterly Provider Spotlight on Values Award. Their nominator wrote, “Kelsey Masters was in the Walk-In Clinic when I brought my child in to be evaluated for an injury. She spoke to my daughter with kindness and compassion as though she were her own child, which made both my daughter and myself feel at ease. Kelsey got in contact with Dr. Jeffrey Clark to have him evaluate my child’s injury further.
Instead of making my child stay at a different facility overnight for a morning surgical procedure, Dr. Clark came to Waverly to do this for her that same evening which helped us avoid an overnight stay. We were more than pleased with both of these providers’ service and the quality of care they provided to our child. They both demonstrated excellence and should be recognized for the action they took to take care of our child.”
WHC has adopted six values which include compassion, enthusiasm, excellence, innovation, integrity and leadership. The Spotlight on Values program recognizes WHC employees, volunteers and providers for demonstrating these values. Patients, visitors and employees are encouraged to submit nominations for the WHC Spotlight on Values honors. Nominations can be submitted online at WaverlyHealthCenter.org/ThankYou or at any Spotlight on Values ballot boxes placed throughout the health center.
