For Seniors Only - Prairie Walk

Join us for an educational prairie walk around Lime Creek Nature Area. The prairie flowers are in full bloom and the prairies are beaming with life. Learn about the plants and animals that inhabit the tall grass prairies that once covered 80% of Iowa. This program will consist of approximately a three-quarter mile hike consisting of mowed trail.
The program will be followed by a catered lunch and social time. Cost is $5.00 for nature center members and $7.00 for nonmembers. Due to Covid-19 registration will be limited and social distancing will be practiced. Please Call 641-423-5309 by Monday, July 26 to register.
