Of the 2,067 people living in Lake Mills in 2019, 51.5 percent (1,064) were women and 48.5 percent (1,003) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the North Iowa Reporter.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 592-to-525. In the 65 and over age range, there were 302 females and 153 males.
