Cost of college went up for all students at Waldorf University

Tuition and fees rose 1.9 percent for 2018-19 at Waldorf University, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Iowa students paid $22,076 to attend the four-year private for-profit institution this year – $412 more than the $21,664 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 139 students received grants or scholarships totaling $1.9 million and 96 students took out student loans totaling more than $680,166.

Including all undergraduates (3,150), 1,541 students used grants or scholarships totaling $13.3 million, and 1,573 students took out $12.8 million in federal student loans.
