Kaplan University-Mason City Campus enrolls 107 undergrads

At Kaplan University-Mason City Campus, 79 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 84 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private for-profit institution in Mason City enrolled 142 students in fall 2018, including 107 in undergraduate and 35 in graduate programs, data shows. 15.9 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

50 percent of undergraduates are residents of Iowa, and 50 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (70 percent) and Black or African American (5 percent).
