75 percent of applicants to Waldorf University were admitted for fall 2018

At Waldorf University, 65 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 62 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private for-profit institution in Forest City enrolled 3,150 students in fall 2018, including 2,636 in undergraduate and 514 in graduate programs, data shows. 11.6 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

28 percent of undergraduates are residents of Iowa, and 63 percent are residents of other states. 4 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (49 percent) and Black or African American (11 percent).

The school admitted 75 percent of the 1,071 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 31 percent enrolled.
