The WinnaVegas Casino in Siouxland has reopened and has a unique way to keep gamblers safe.
In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the casino has increased its technology game and instituted a sanitation squad.
"All the slot machines are open but when you sit down the two machines next to them will turn off, then when they leave those two machines will turn back on but that one will stay closed until someone comes and cleans that machine and resets it and ready for operation so that we know it is clean," Mayan Beltran, General Manager at WinnaVegas Casino and Resort, told KMEG.
The sanitation squad will clean equipment, keep track of the number of people in the casino and take patron's temperature as they enter.
All staff has been trained in best practices according to the CDC, including hand washing, covering coughs and other measures.
Face masks are required inside the casino and smoking is prohibited.
WinnaVegas Casino is open from 10 a.m. to midnight seven days a week.
